FAQ

Are Hanynest wall panels easy to install?

Yes. Our peel-and-stick wall panels are designed for simple DIY installation — no drilling, glue, or special tools required in most cases. Just peel off the backing and press the panel firmly onto a clean, dry, smooth surface. Most customers can complete a small accent wall or headboard area within an hour.

What surfaces can I apply the panels to?

Our panels adhere best to smooth, clean, and dry surfaces such as painted drywall, flat wood, and smooth tile. They are not recommended for heavily textured walls, wallpaper, unpainted or unsealed surfaces, or walls with peeling paint, as this can affect how well the adhesive holds.

Can the panels be removed without damaging my wall?

Our panels are designed to be removable, but results can vary depending on your wall type, paint quality, and how long the panel has been applied. We recommend removing panels slowly and evenly, and testing a small, inconspicuous area first if you're unsure how your wall surface will react.

Can I cut or trim the panels to fit my space?

Some of our panel styles can be trimmed to fit around outlets, corners, or smaller wall sections using a utility knife or scissors. Please note that once a panel has been cut or altered, it's no longer eligible for return, as outlined in our Return & Refund Policy.

Are the wall panels waterproof or suitable for kitchens and bathrooms?

Select panel styles, such as our marble-look backsplash tiles, are designed to resist light moisture and splashes, making them a good fit for kitchen backsplashes. However, we don't recommend installing our panels in areas with direct, constant water exposure, such as inside a shower.

Are these panels safe for a child's bedroom or nursery?

Our anti-collision and upholstered wall panels are designed with padding to help soften impact around cribs, beds, and play areas. As with any wall decor, we recommend adult supervision during installation and periodically checking that panels remain securely attached.

How do I clean and maintain my wall panels?

Most panels can be wiped down with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, scrub brushes, or excessive water, as this may affect the panel's texture or adhesive backing over time.

Will the color or pattern I receive look exactly like the product photos?

We do our best to represent our products accurately, though slight variations in color or texture may occur due to different screen display settings or natural variation in materials like wood grain finishes. If you have questions about a specific pattern before purchasing, feel free to reach out to us.
